Staff team changes as Our Harbour expands
Regine Bouzi, who joined us in November 2017, acts as Coordinator at Our Harbour, juggling the many demands of that position with remarkable aplomb. She keeps in daily contact with residents, adjusting her actions to their ever-changing needs.
Regine has over 20 years’ experience in the health sector in the capacity of caregiver and administrator. Most recently, Regine held the position of Assistant Supervisor, Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, New York, where she was responsible for overseeing care and service delivery to over 40 clients. Regine received her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from St. Joseph’s College, New York and is working toward an M.B.A. in Human Services.
The Board of Directors and staff recently welcomed Dolly Shinhat into the newly-created role of Director General. Dolly has over 25 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, more than ten of those as a senior administrator, responsible for all aspects of strategic and operational planning, staff and volunteer management, fundraising and stewardship. She has worked in both the educational and health sectors, including Concordia University, McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine, Centennial Academy & College and, most recently, at the World Federation of Hemophilia.
Dolly joins the staff team, and, along with the Board and volunteers of OH, looks forward to continuing to provide residents with the community, security and friendship which truly changes their lives.
Born in Agra, India, Dolly grew up in England before immigrating to Canada in 1976. Dolly has an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Concordia University in Montreal and a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She has been married for over 35 years and has two grown daughters.
Welcome to our newest staff member!
Audrey Ann Truchon, a former Our Harbour stagiaire, has rejoined us as Coordinator, Programmes and Services. (Audrey Ann is replacing Jennifer Gilkes who is on maternity leave.)
